Rollicking and surprisingly amusing fantasy Alright, I am a dedicated reader and escaper into all things romantic comedy. But I have avoided this movie, thinking it couldn’t be enjoyable because of the premise. I can happily say I was wrong. Highly Inappropriate

Yecchh! This movie is peopled by obnoxious and unfunny characters engaging in boring and unfunny dialog and situations. Dermot Mulroney is not very attractive (and is very short) and displays the acting chops of a stick. Debra Messing is not very attractive and is a terrible actress. The rest of the cast is only memorable in achieving great heights of mediocrity. Any comedy – any movie , actually – can hardly succeed when it has no compelling characters.
